Kehilla is Hebrew for community. I created this blog during a period when I was searching for a way to maintain the sense of community by which I define myself as Jewish. Despite this original intent, please feel free to post anything you want to the site.

I'm an M.D./Ph.D. Student at Weill Cornell Medical College in NYC. I study inflammation (specifically, leukocyte transendothelial migration, i.e. how white blood cells get from the blood into tissue) at the cellular, molecular, and genetic level in the laboratory of Dr. William A. Muller, M.D., Ph.D., in the Department of Pathology at Weill Cornell.
